Back to school, back to sports! Whether you’re cheering for prime time superstars, or sitting on the sidelines cheering on your own star, one thing is for sure— fall sports are coming back in full force! That also means snack season is back in full force!
Fans and athletes alike need some nourishment during this busy time of year, but too often we are bombarded with cheap, processed convenience foods. Sure, they’re an easy “go-to” but are they the healthiest option? Probably not!
Entertaining football fanatics three nights a week or feeding an army of hungry miniature future NBA stars doesn’t mean you have to reach for that wholesale store bag of chips and preservative laden jar of salsa.
Team parties, Sunday night dinners and stadium snacks shouldn’t be the fall to your well-being. Here are some of our favorite family-friendly foods!
Cashews, Almonds & Peanuts… Go Nuts!
Almonds can be used in a variety of mixes, try toasting or dehydrating them with a sprinkle of Pink Himalayan Salt, cinnamon and paprika for a subtle kick!
